‘Disastrous political strategy’: Andrew Bolt examines Labor government’s visa scandal

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the Albanese government's visa scandal is no longer just about the government's incompetence but is also about their “honesty and frankness with voters”. The Prime Minister has been ridiculed over his failure to answer questions on his government's visa approvals for Gazans following another heated debate in Question Time. “What we saw from the prime minister today was exactly the same disastrous political strategy we saw last year when he was trying to sell Australians the Voice," Mr Bolt said. “It goes like this: tell the voters nothing. If you're asked a direct question, don't answer. Stall. Treat voters like idiots. “That strategy killed the government last year, and it will kill the government now – and possibly this time for good.”
