‘Dividing our community’: Peter Dutton blasted for ‘politicising’ synagogue firebombing

Employment and Workplace Relation Murray Watt has blasted Opposition Leader Peter Dutton for trying to “politicise” the synagogue arson attack. Mr Watt’s comments come after a synagogue in Melbourne was firebombed. “Peter Dutton chooses to try and politicise it and divide our community rather than try and bring us together,” Mr Watt told Sky News Australia. Within hours of this occurring the Prime Minister was making very strong statements unequivocally condemning this attack. “It’s just very disappointing that Peter Dutton can’t avoid politicising these sorts of terrible events.”
