30,000 रुपये से ज़्यादा कीमत वाले फ़ोन वाले यूज़र्स से Zepto पर समान सामान के लिए ज़्यादा पैसे लिए जाते हैं। Reddit पर एक अनाम यूज़र ने खुद को Zepto का कर्मचारी बताते हुए चौंकाने वाले दावे किए। Zepto क्विक-कॉमर्स में सबसे नया स्टार्टअप है, जिसने 2024 में ही 1 बिलियन डॉलर से ज़्यादा जुटाए हैं। यूज़र ने दावा किया कि Zepto यूज़र्स से ज़्यादा पैसे ऐंठने के लिए अपने ऑपरेशन में “डार्क पैटर्न” का इस्तेमाल करता है। यूज़र ने आरोप लगाया कि ऐप पर कस्टमर डेटा की प्रोफाइलिंग की जाती है और यूज़र डेटा की सुरक्षा खराब स्थिति में है। Users with phones priced above Rs 30,000 are charged more for the same goods on Zepto. The user claimed Zepto uses “dark patterns” in its operations to extract more money from users. Customer data is profiled and security of user data is in bad shape on the app, the user alleged.
