Doctors issue 7- day nationwide strike notice

Come Monday next week doctors across the country are poised to lay down their tools, followed by other health unions in two weeks, in protest of the Ministry of Health's failure to employ medical interns as mandated by the law. The escalating crisis stems from the national treasury's alleged failure to disburse funds for interns hiring, at least according to the Ministry of Health.
