Doctors spread joy at QEH
The Barbados Association of Medical Practicioners and the UWI Student Doctors Association got to carolling this year to spread some joy on the wards of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Kenneth Connell, Deputy Dean of Recruitment and Outreach at UWI and PRO of BAMP told CBC News the tradition died 20 years ago but they are rekindling it. BAMP President Dr. Lynda Williams, in wishing Barbados the best for 2024, reminded the public of the importance of caring for one's health. The doctors and doctors-in-training began the Christmas carols on Ward C5 and went to some others spreading cheer to those who can't be at home with their loved ones.
