Doctors to continue with planned strike come Monday

A healthcare crisis is looming in the country following a 7-day strike notice issued by the doctors union, the Kenya Medical Practitioners, pharmacists, and dentists union has reiterated that doctors will down their tools if the collective bargaining agreement is not implemented among other grievances. This is after a meeting held between the Ministry of Health and unions on Tuesday failed to give a solution to the issues raised.
