Documentary heritage - Strengthening the mandate of documentary heritage in Uganda

Librarians from universities and other degree-granting institutions have been urged to prioritize the creation, storage, and conservation of reference documents for future use. Professor Elisam Magara, a specialist in Records and Archives Management at Makerere University, emphasizes that the intentional preservation of documentary heritage is crucial for ensuring future access by scholars, institutions, and other users, serving as a vital record of our world.
