The documentary "Sudan, Remember Us," featured on opening night, highlights the efforts of young Sudanese striving for change between the fall of Omar al-Bashir and the 2023 civil war. This year's festival includes 66 films from 42 countries, focusing on themes of empathy, compassion, and human understanding, with special programmes addressing regional violence and injustice.
