Donald Trump blasts ‘corrupt’ Fani Willis following disqualification

President-elect Donald Trump has blasted “corrupt” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis following her disqualification. On Thursday, the Georgia Court of Appeals decided to disqualify the Fulton County DA and her team. Following the disqualification, Trump spoke on Fox News Digital and asserted the case “is entirely dead”. The president-elect added that the “wonderful patriots who have been caught up in this for years” should “receive an apology”. Willis and her team’s disqualification means Trump and his co-defendants cannot be prosecuted in the election interference case. Though the court of appeals did not drop the indictment, it does mean Willis and her team have “no authority to proceed”.
