Donald Trump ‘fashioned’ the Republican Party in ‘his own image’

Former Howard government minister Peter McGauran says US President-elect Donald Trump is in an “unprecedentedly powerfully position”. Donald Trump will become the 47th President of the United States and serve a second term. “Not only do the Republicans have control of the Senate and the House of Representatives, but they are Trump’s people,” Mr McGauran told Sky News Australia. “He has fashioned and molded and designed the Republican Party in his own image.”
