Donald Trump to hold first rally since assassination attempt

One week on from the assassination attempt, Republican nominee Donald Trump is holding his first rally alongside his vice presidential pick. The rally will be held indoors in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as security is expected to remain on high alert after Mr Trump was shot in the ear last week. Secret Service has reportedly asked local law enforcement to send additional people.
