DP Gachagua loses case stopping impeachment hearing

9 single sitting judges have declined to stop parliament from processing the impeachment motion against deputy president Rigathi Gachagua with his fate now lying with the senate which is investigating the matter tomorrow and on thursday before taking a vote. However, in yet another application that will be ruled tomorrow morning by a three-judge bench, Gachagua is keen to also get restraining orders barring any replacement of his position should he be impeached.
