Dr. Marian G. Lacey K-8 Academy in Little Rock poised for grand opening

Little Rock School District is opening up a new school in Southwest Little Rock this fall that will serve students from Cloverdale, Baseline, and Meadowcliff schools. The new K-8 school, which is on the site of the former McClellan High School, is named after Dr. Marian G. Lacey, a beloved LRSD teacher, administrator, and assistant superintendent. The school's principal, Don Porter has already held meetings with community members and parents in the area to give more information on the school.
