Former UK prime minister Boris Johnson is “nothing if not dramatic” as he has compared his political ousting to the death of Julius Caesar, says Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater. His remarks come after the former UK leader released a new memoir in which he lashed out at Rishi Sunak for ousting him from his position and likened the move to Julius Caesar being stabbed to death. “He loves a classical metaphor,” Mr Slater told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. “It’s fair to say that Rishi Sunak and many other people in his party certainly plunged the knife in when they all resigned en masse to oust Boris Johnson.”
