The Briton vomited several times on court, losing his first grand slam semi-final 7-5, 7-5, 6-2 at Flushing Meadows in New York. The 22-year-old was carrying the torch of British tennis after the retirement of Andy Murray. And he proved he's got what it takes to make it to the top, getting to the semis without dropping a set.
