The Dukashe family lives in a mixed HIV status relationship. The wife was diagnosed with HIV in 2002 while the husband is HIV negative. Mandisa Dukashe is with the South African National Aids Council and her husband Siyabulela Dukashe is working as a community HIV program Nurse Lead for Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Institute.
