Duplicate transaction caused by Commonwealth Bank glitch

Commonwealth Bank is urgently working to resolve an error after receiving hundreds of customer complaints about their money being stolen. Customers reported seeing several duplicate transactions where payments came out of their accounts twice. A spokesperson for the bank says all duplicate charges will be refunded and apologises to affected customers. Several customers have also reported being unable to access customer service due to long hold times.
