East-West Line disruption: Full train services not expected to resume this weekend

Commutes have been much smoother at major MRT interchange stations on the third day of train service disruption along the East-West Line. Senior Minister of State for Transport Amy Khor said officers remain ready to help direct members of the public to bridging buses. The Land Transport Authority said damaged rails near Dover have been replaced, as well as power cables. SMRT said it is on track to restore power rails by the end of the day. Jeraldine Yap reports.
