Eastern Cape matriculants thrive despite adversities

The Eastern Cape Matric class of 2024 has achieved 84.98% pass rate, the highest since the dawn of democracy. It's a big improvement from the 81.42% accomplished in the previous year and despite the socio-economic challenges facing the province's rural districts, pupils living in impoverished communities are still outperforming those living in cities. eNCA's Ronald Masinda has the details.
