ECCB Applauds Government Decision To Enact Minimum Wage Legislation

Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Timothy Antoine, has praised the government of Saint Lucia for its efforts to implement a minimum wage. In the recent “Conversation with the Governor” program aired on DBS Television, the Governor emphasized the need to balance providing a sustainable wage for workers and ensuring the viability of businesses, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises.
