ECCB Governor Suggests Ambitious Economic Targets For Government

Saint Lucia is being urged to undertake structural reforms to double its economy over the next ten years. Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Timothy Antoine proposes an annual seven percent growth to achieve the transformation of Saint Lucia’s economy and by extension that of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union. The ECCB Governor on Thursday wrapped up a four-day country Outreach Mission to Saint Lucia where he held consultations with various stakeholder groups under the theme, “The Big Push – Pursuing Bold Actions to Transform Saint Lucia’s Economy”.
