A programme aimed at teaching thousands of students about climate change and the importance of physical and mental well-being is underway. The Eco-Fit Youth Programme is expected to touch over five thousand students across 20 primary schools between now and December. The latest stop was at the Shirley Chisholm Primary School where students were treated to interactive sessions about weather patterns, the environment, and physical health. Assistant Coordinator of Projects with the Ashley Lashley Foundation, Channal Holder, also placed a special focus on the 5Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle, repurpose and refuse.
