Economic independence - Eradicate corruption for the country economic development

Dr. Derrick Ssebaduka, president of the Association of Uganda Students in India (AUIS), emphasized the critical need for Uganda to cultivate its local produce, particularly in the agricultural sector, as a pathway to boosting the nation's economy. He remarked that while Uganda is still striving for economic independence, a well-promoted tourism sector could significantly enhance revenue generation for the country.
