Economist on when Australians could expect rate cuts

Independent economist Chris Richardson has discussed when Australians could expect to receive interest rate relief from the Reserve Bank of Australia. “Now economists and markets are pretty much lined up saying that they don't expect the first rate cut in Australia to occur until May or later,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia. “It's a complicated world it could happen, but the expectation increasingly is later and fewer rate cuts when they do arrive.”
