ECTEL Pushing For Updated Consumer-Centric Telecoms Legislation

The Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority was in St. Kitts recently promoting the Electronic Communications Bill which is to replace the outdated Telecommunications Act now in effect in its five Contracting States. As we hear in this report, the EC Bill focuses heavily on protecting consumer rights and improving the quality of electronic communications services in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines
