Education policy review - Introduce a clear policy on teachers’ retirement’- educationists to gov’t

Education stakeholders have expressed concern over the rising number of science teachers opting for early retirement to join private schools. The concers were presented to the Education Policy Review Commission, led by its Chair, Hon Amanya Mushega, during its visit to Rwenzori and Toro regions. Stakeholders are now urging that the new education policy addresses this issue, as it is contributing to teacher shortages across the country.
