Efforts to increase airlift to Barbados bearing fruit

Minister of Tourism and International Transport Ian Gooding-Edghill says the return of the direct American Airlines flight from JFK Airport in New York, is part of the strategy of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. and his Ministry to increase airlift into Barbados, especially from the US. He is hopeful the service can be maintained after the winter season.
