ELECTORAL COMMISSION OFFICIALS DENIED AUDIENCE BY PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE AMID BUDGET PRESENTATION

Officials from the Electoral Commission secretariat have been bounced by the Parliamentary committee on Legal and Parliamentary Affairs after they had appeared to present their forthcoming budget framework paper. Electoral commission officials were summoned before the term of the commissioners expired on 7th January 2024. The team was not given room until the next commissioners are constituted.
