ELEVEN DEAD, MANY INJURED AFTER FUEL TANKER FIRE IN WAKISO DISTRICT

Eleven people have perished and scores injured after a fuel tanker lost control at Kigogwa near Matugga in Wakiso district and the leaking fuel caught fire. On lookers at the scene of the accident told UBC that the driver was over speeding and fuel tanker lost control and swerved off the road before plunging and catching fire. Residents nearby rushed to the scene to to collect fuel before the fuel caught fire and exploded killing and injuring the fuel gatherers.
