Elon Musk visits Capitol Hill carrying his son alongside Vivek Ramaswamy

Tesla CEO Elon Musk visited Capitol Hill on Thursday carrying his son X Æ A-Xii and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. Musk and Ramaswamy, who will head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), met with legislators behind closed doors. The formation of the DOGE comes as President-elect Donald Trump looks to lower the federal government’s spending. The two men made their way through the halls of Capitol Hill en route to a “brainstorming” session with House and Senate leaders. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson about Musk and Ramaswamy’s appearance, marking their visit as the “beginning of a journey”.
