EMPD chief in sexual harassment row

A damning report prepared by the City Manager's office has been tabled by the Ekurhuleni council speaker. The report recommends the suspension of Metro Police Chief, Isaac Mapiyeye, and an independent investigation be conducted within 30-days. Mapiyeye who's been in office since 2017 is accused of sexual harassment and intimidation of a fellow staff member. Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza has asked for more time to thoroughly review the report before the council can take any action. eNCA reporter Pule Letshwiti-Jones has more. Courtesy #DStv403
