Empowering women in agriculture - Civil society organizations take lead in the program

The Special Envoy of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission on Women, Peace, and Security, Bineta Diop, has called for advocacy to improve women's access to land and credit to enable their engagement in agriculture. She made the remarks at the launch of the 'Empowering Women in Agriculture Program' Uganda chapter, funded and led by the Institute for Social Transformation in partnership with Action Against Hunger, to curb food scarcity.
