Emyooga's success in Kigezi - Kigezi’s Emyooga cooperatives hailed in fight against poverty

The Board Chairperson of the Microfinance Support Centre, Dr. Emmanuel Aliba, has commended the remarkable success of Emyooga savings and credit cooperatives in Kigezi sub-region. During a fact-finding mission to assess the program's impact on transforming livelihoods, Dr. Aliba urged communities to keep politics out of the Emyooga initiative, emphasizing that political interference could hinder the program's primary goal of eradicating poverty.
