Emyooga beneficiaries invest in multiple enterprises -MSC tightens poverty eradication in Kitagwenda

Women entrepreneurs in Kitagwenda District have transformed their economic circumstances by investing in various income-generating enterprises. Many of these women, who were previously unemployed and earning less than a dollar a day, are now aspiring multimillion-dollar investors. the Resident District Commissioner Ssembabula Jennifrancis Kagayi led a delegation of Emyooga SACCO leaders from Greater Masaka and highlighted that 50% of residents in the western region have successfully maintained their credit through cooperatives.
