Ending Neglected Tropical Diseases by 2030 - Sustainable financing needed – Aceng

Dr Jane Ruth Aceng the Minister of Health has called upon leaders, communities and stakeholders to prioritize and act to address the inequalities that drive Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in the country. Aceng made the remarks during the commemoration of the World Neglected Tropical Disease day held in Pakwach District. The purpose of World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day is to raise the profile of neglected tropical diseases, the suffering caused and to garner support towards the control, elimination and eradication.
