Ensuring food security - Uganda to unveil a food & agricultural Authority

The Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports & Industrial Development (PACEID) and MAIIF have joined forces to unveil Uganda's much-anticipated Food and Agricultural Authority (FAA) This follows a Cabinet approval n October 25, 2023 for the establishment of an authority solely focused on matters related to food safety standards and regulations, with a primary mandate to ensure the production of safe food for local consumption and export.
