Establishment of Africa Investment Bank - Preparatory discussions ahead of Museveni's meeting

President Yoweri Museveni’s long term for Africa to have its own investment bank has been fuelled by the discussions held today by Uganda’s top financial players featuring Deputy Governor bank of Uganda, National Planning Authority ,Financial Intelligence authority , Insurance among others. The Chairperson National Planning Authority Prof Pamella Mbabazi concurs with the Head of State house Investors Protection Unit that time is ripe for East Africa and Africa as a whole to craft and implement the idea of establishment of our own indigenous bank.
