EU seals US$54B aid package for Ukraine despite Hungary’s objections
The leaders of the 27 European Union countries have agreed to provide Ukraine with a new 50-billion-euro (US$54 billion) aid package to support its war-torn economy. This decision was made despite threats from Hungary to veto the move.
