Every Australian taxpayer ‘needs and deserves’ a tax cut: Anthony Albanese

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says every Australian taxpayer “needs and deserves” a tax cut. Mr Albanese said his government wants Australians to “earn more” and “keep more” of what they earned. “The coalition wants people to work longer for less,” Mr Albanese said. “Our approach has been to make sure that we deliver for working Australians and indeed our package means the 84 per cent of taxpayers will be better off. “The Labor Party will stand up for people in regional Australia which is what we are doing.”
