Evidence of sugar tax being ‘very effective’

Australian Medical Association President Professor Stephen Robson says there is evidence from around the world that a sugar tax is “very effective”. This was one of the recommendations of a parliamentary probe into diabetes. Mr Robson told Sky News Australia that around a hundred countries or jurisdictions globally “have introduced it”.
