CNN Reporter Ivan Watson says former South Korean defence minister Kim Yong-hyun has been detained as he is believed to be “one of the key accomplices” in imposing martial law on the country. South Korea’s parliament has voted to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol. “You’ve had police raid the presidential offices. They have detained his former defence minister, who is believed to have been one of the key accomplices in the attempt to impose emergency martial law,” Mr Watson told Sky News Australia. “He actually tried to commit suicide this week from detention, [but] did not succeed with that.”
