Ex-Minister Baba Siddique Shot Dead, Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility

Ex-Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead by three assailants in Mumbai's Bandra area. He succumbed to his injuries at Lilavati hospital. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing, citing Siddique's association with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Mumbai police are verifying the claim and have identified a third suspect. It is revealed that the killers were paid Rs 50,000 each. Haryana and UP police have been put on alert.
