Following Dr. Keith Rowley's announcement of his plans to step down as Prime Minister and People's National Movement (PNM) political leader, stalwarts and former ministers continue to express concerns about the future of the party. Former finance minister and PNM treasurer Mariano Browne expects Saturday's special General Council meeting to be heated, opposing any attempts to impose a leader on the party. Browne appeared on CNC3's The Morning Brew programme.
