Examining legislative works on Rationalisation of Government Agencies and Public Expenditure Act

In February 2021, Cabinet decided to merge, mainstream, and rationalize Government Agencies, Commissions, Authorities, and Public Expenditure to enhance service delivery efficiency. Since then, legislators have been assessing the practicality of the RAPEX Act, culminating in the passing of bills on April 17th to inform merger policies. This week, the President assented to 19 bills, with 15 focusing on mergers, which is our topic of discussion this morning.
