EXTENSION OF YELLOW FEVER MASS VACCINATION: OLD YELLOW FEVER CARDS TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW ONES

The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Diana Atwine has announced the extension of one week for Yellow Fever Preventive Mass Vaccination Campaign Exercise from 8th – 14th April 2024. Atwine accompanied by the Director General Health Services Dr Henry Mwebesa and Director Public Health Dr Danial Kyabayinze was briefing the media at the Ministry of Health Headquarters in Kampala. She said that the ministry will phase out old yellow fever cards and replace them with new ones that have security barcodes that are recognized internationally.
