External Affair Minister Tells UWP To Keep Their Foreign Policy Advice

External Affairs Minister, Alva Baptiste says the Opposition United Workers Party will not lecture the current SLP administration in how it conducts its foreign policy matters referring to its criticism of the Labour government’s response to the Venezuela Guyana border dispute. The External Affairs Minister has lauded the efforts of CARICOM in brokering the recent meeting St Vincent and the Grenadines between the Venezuelan and Guyanese leaders. That summit ended with both sides agreeing to settle their differences peacefully.
