The former deputy prime minister reportedly fell off a planter box after he attended functions where alcohol was served at Parliament House on Wednesday night. “I understand the Nationals Leader David Littleproud telephoned Barnaby Joyce on Friday to see what had happened,” Mr Clennell said. “I contacted the former deputy prime minister for his side of the story yesterday. “He said he didn’t want to talk about it or what conversations he might have had with his leader.”
