Failed carjacking in Markham, Ont., hotel parking garage caught on surveillance video

The hunt is on for two carjacking suspects in Markham, Ont., after an attempted theft was caught on camera. Released surveillance video shows a white car tailing a woman’s SUV inside of a hotel parking garage on Aug. 31, before two men clad in black attacked her. In this case, the bandits left empty-handed — but police still have a message for the public. "This is just property, it's not worth being seriously injured or losing your life over a vehicle," said Const. James Dickson of the York Regional Police (YRP). Global’s Shallima Maharaj reports.
