In the meanwhile, a region has been polarised... With TKR going along well toward setting a respectable total batting first, a power outage at the start of the 20th over of their innings resulted in more than two hours of the match being lost... A revised total swung the momentum firmly in favour of the Royals, with them going on to win the match… But the after-taste of that result, even to them, remains bitter... Gyasi Merrique reports.
