Farmers Protest 2.0: Police Using New Tactics To Avoid Repeat Of 2020-21 Fiasco

A new wave of demonstrations by farmers, termed as "Farmer Protest 2.0" on the back of the first wave witnessed in 2020-21, began early Tuesday. Protesting farmers from Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh began their march towards Delhi on Tuesday, looking to corner the Centre to accept a host of their demands. Restrictions and diversions had been mounted at the Singhu, Tikri, Shambhu, and Ghazipur borders since February 12th.
